Info on popping Gods

For Genbu (generally the easiest God): Zipacna (golem NM) - Gem of the north - I think he just pops every 3 hours or so. No need to kill anything, although he's a pain to find and track down, since he wanders a lot. Enter any of the entrances into Ve'Lugannon Palace and have your RNGs and BSTs wide scan for him. Detectors aggro sound and golems aggro sight, so clear one entrance, wait til he wanders near, then pull him.

Olla Grande(magic pot NM) - Drops Winterstone - Kind of a pain to get. Kill Aura pots to get a drop called "Ro'Maeve Water". You trade this water to a ??? to spawn Olla Pequena, which is pretty easy. As soon as it is dead, Olla Media spawns, which is slightly harder. Kill it, and Olla Grande spawns. Wish I could give you directions, but I don't recall off hand. The magic pots that will drop it, however, are inside the Shrine of Ru'Avitu, and are in the same area as the ???.

For Suzaku: Bringandish Blade (weapon NM) - drops Gem of the south - Take first right, down stairs, and hug right wall. You zone into the shrine and that's where a ??? that you trade the Curtana(sword) to spawn BB. Curtana(the NM) is a spawn elsewhere in Ve'Lugannon Palace. You have to steal Buccaneer's Knife from it, then kill it for the Curtana sword. BB can only be killed with the Knife, ie, the death blow must be from the knife.

Faust (Doll NM)- drops Summerstone - He's up every 2 hours or so and aggros sight, although the dolls around him only aggro to magic. Kinda complicated to get to. Go north, past the blue cove Groundskeepers and take a right, down the stairs, and head left into the shrine of Ru'Avitu. Head right inside, then follow the left wall. You go through a series of transporters. Sorry, I don't have the map yet and can't remember the coords. But be warned that some transporters are a bit random in where they port you, however they port you all to the same area. Just different coonnected rooms of the same area. Chances are, one of you will be ported to the room right next to Faust, and he'll aggro and kill that person when they leave their small room. Best way to handle Faust is to pull him to a transporter room, and have a pld tank him while mages and ranged stand on the porter platform and attack with magic and ranged. Faust spams an AoE every few seconds, making him melee and ninja unfriendly.

Seiryu: Steam Cleaner(magic pot NM) - Gem of the east - A detector will summon Steam cleaner when you aggro it, randomly, and if in the respawn window (4-6 hours I think). You have to zone into Ve'Lugannon Palace and go deep inside past the initial detectors, and find a small room to pull into. May need to kill a doll already there. Then pull a detector in and let it summon, sleeping it after it does. If it summons a doll, kill the doll, and wait til the detector wakes up to summoner another. If in the spawn window, it will eventually summon Steam Cleaner.

Mother Globe (detector NM) - Springstone - Not sure on the directions, but you the same basic way as to Olla Grande above, but take 1 more transporter. Not sure on repop time, though not a lottery pop. Mother globe has about 4 slave globes that need to be Ga-nuked by blms, as they can cause trouble. Get a nin to stand still and tank it, while blms and ranged people attack it. As slave globes are repopped, have your melees quickly engage and kill them.

For Byakko (hardest HNM God): Despot (doll NM) - drops gem of the west- lottery pop from the groundskeepers in Ru'Aun, in those blue coves if you go straight north from entrance.

Ullikummi (golem NM) - drops autumnstone - random lottery pop from Aura statues. Again, kinda complicated to get to, but in the same general direction as Faust (you'll take 1 last transporter beyond Faust to get to his spawn area). Lv73-75 people xp on these statues, which are the last IT's to a Lv74-75 person. An xp party will usually pop Ulli in their course of killing golems for xp.

God Strategys

Each God has a 2hour that they *may* use. Sometimes they don't, and not sure why.

Genbu - uses Invincible: Best if you kite him around with ninja and or pld. Dispel his shell effect as he puts it up, and use ranged and magic attacks mainly. Melees can run around and build up TP somehow (sam sub perhaps) and unleash Spirit's Within at 300%. Barwatera reccomended, as he uses water spells and attacks, including Flood and Poisonga. Shouldn't be too hard.

Suzaku - Uses Chainspell: Tank him with a ninja, with plds ready to back them up, although plds can tank him. Dispel his evasion boost. Uses a lot of fire spells, including Flare and Firega III, which can be a problem if and when he uses Chainspell. Best strategy is to have a 74-75 RDM/DRK counter with Chainspell + Stun at this point. Pretty easy otherwise.

Seiryu - Uses 100 fists: Tank him with a ninja, with plds as backup, although plds can tank him. Uses standard wyvern attacks. 100 fists last 45 seconds, so when he uses it, either have a couple plds stagger their Invincible, or use a combination of bind, gravity, and shadowbind, and everyone run away.

Byakko - Uses Perfect Dodge: Lots of tanks. Preferably 2 ninja and 2 pld and trade aggro a lot, to give ninja time to recast. Byakko double and triple attacks often, and uses lots of damaging TP attacks and spells like Diaga (wipes Utsusemi) and Banish III. Having more than 18 people here is greatly reccomended, especially on a first try.
